Timpanogos High School Introduces New Athletic Director Toby Ryan

Timpanogos High School is excited to announce the addition of a new Athletic Director, Toby Ryan. With over 15 years of experience as an educator and coach, Toby has long been a champion of student growth both in the classroom and on the field. Currently teaching and coaching at Timpanogos, he also serves as the advisor for the Sources of Strength program and is the head coach for the T-Wolf lacrosse team.

Toby brings a diverse coaching background across multiple sports, working with both boys’ and girls’ teams, and previously served in leadership roles as an Athletic Director and PLC Coach. Married to Emily Day Ryan, a successful accountant, he is also a proud parent of two T-Wolves: Tysen, a Timpanogos graduate, and Audrey, a current student.

With a commitment to building a culture of belonging, increasing student participation through meaningful and enjoyable experiences, and enhancing both school and community support, Toby is eager to elevate the athletic experience for all T-Wolves. “His goal is to lead a championship-caliber program grounded in excellence and unity,” said Principal Murphy. “We’re thrilled to have him step into this role.”
